Moments That Matter: Inside Our Youth & Young Adult Retreat

In December, our Youth and Young Adults experienced more than just a getaway — they stepped into a time of refreshing, connection, and spiritual growth during our Christmas Retreat. Surrounded by laughter, fellowship, and God’s presence, the retreat created space for everyone to bond deeply while strengthening their walk with Christ.

Throughout the trip, our youth captured meaningful moments of togetherness — from cooking meals side by side and sharing laughs in the kitchen, to friendly competition during games of air hockey, pool, bowling, and other group activities like building a gingerbread house village. These simple moments became powerful opportunities for relationship-building, teamwork, and joy among our Youth and Young Adults.

Beyond the fun, the heart of the retreat was grounded in faith and reflection. Our Youth and Young Adults gathered for Bible study and prayer, engaging in honest conversations, listening to God’s Word, and encouraging one another in faith.

These moments of worship and reflection were just as impactful as the laughter-filled ones, reminding us that spiritual growth often happens when we slow down and lean into God together.

Each smile, prayer, and shared experience tells the story of a group growing closer not only to one another, but to God.

As the retreat came to an end, our Youth and Young Adults returned refreshed and renewed, carrying with them strengthened faith, meaningful connections, and lasting memories.

This Christmas retreat reminded us that when we come together in His presence, faith grows, bonds deepen, and lives are transformed.
